Meagen has had an enduring connection with theatre ever since the
fifth grade, when she performed a role in Willy Wonka and the
Chocolate Factory. She knew then that being on stage was not her true
passion, but understanding absolutely everything that was going on
behind it, was.
She finds herself energized daily by her desire to invent new
environments and rediscover the excitement and fulfillment that a
production offers. Meagen has taken on many behind-the-scenes roles
throughout the years, from stage managing high school productions to
lighting tech at College of DuPage, to props designer for Redmoon
Theater.
She graduated at the top of her class from The School of the Art
Institute of Chicago with a degree in Interior Architecture, and
eagerly awaits every opportunity to create, design and light the
Camenae stage.
